CGAP Application Fee Waiver

Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP)

For a limited time, 1‒31 October 2015, The IIA is waiving the application fee (up to a US$200 value) for the Certified Government Auditing Professional® (CGAP®) designation.*

The CGAP® designation was established for auditors working in the public sector at all levels. Whether you are seeking a promotion or simply pursuing professional development, this credential will demonstrate your preparation for the many distinct challenges you will face in this demanding environment.

Important CGAP Change in 2016: As part of the restructured CGAP syllabus which will begin transition in mid-2016, applicants will be required to complete the CIA Part 1.

Candidates must submit their application via CCMS during the waiver period to save! Offer ends 31 October 2015.

*This offer applies only to the CGAP application fee. This offer may not apply in countries where exams are administered through Institutes with certain agreements. Please contact your local Institute to verify if the offer is valid in your country. Excludes exam registrations.

The Certified Government Auditing Professional® (CGAP®) certification program is designed especially for auditors working in the public sector at all levels — federal/national, state/provincial, local, quasi-governmental, or crown authority — and is an excellent professional credential that prepares you for the many challenges you face in this demanding environment.

Computer-based Testing

The CGAP exam is available through computer-based testing, allowing you to test year-round at more than 500 locations worldwide. Candidates are able to sit for exams at any IIA-authorized Pearson VUE testing center worldwide, regardless of whether the testing center is located in your hometown or country. To locate the testing centers nearest you, visit the Pearson VUE website. You must apply and register in The IIA's Certification Candidate Management System (CCMS) prior to scheduling an exam.
